So I am a bit behind on my blogging because I have been so tremendously busy with sessions and editing. So I am going to hop back a little to my session with two-year-old Carter and his mommy, Kelley.
A few years ago, when I was still in the HR and business arena, I met Kelley's husband when he began working in my department. I met Kelley a few times throughout my two years at the organization, but it was not until recently that we connected again. Kelley is a fitness instructor, studio owner, and Beachbody Coach. I have followed her personal journey through social media as she has lost 30lbs and built a business of her own, all while being a stay-at-home mom. It is inspiring to watch other moms following their dreams. If you want to learn more about Kelley and her journey, you can visit her blog here.
Like so many moms I know, Kelley had very few photos of just her and her son, Carter. We met at Codorus State Park in June for Carter's two-year session, which turned into a "Mommy and Me".
Meet Carter! A super happy, go-with-the-flow, kind of kid. He was happy to show his teeth for the camera!
I love allowing young kids to just explore and play during their sessions. It really helps to bring out their unique personality, and takes the pressure off of them to perform for the camera.
Incorporating the Mommy and Me was perfect since our session was right before Father's Day. Kelley used the photos to surprise her husband!
Two years old loving it!
Thank you to Kelley and Carter for such a fun session!
