The one thing I love so much about Brad and Rachel is that they are 100% true to themselves and their style. I met them both for their engagement session a few months ago, and they hopped out of the car in matching camo t-shirts, which gave me a hint as to their wedding theme and their personalities! They are both somewhat quiet at times, and Brad tells me that Rachel doesn't like to have her photo taken (although she is stunningly beautiful, and I could photograph her all day long!). But as a couple they are perfectly in sync, and meant to be, and being a part of their day was a lot of fun.
I began my morning with the ladies at Gigi & Shearers Hair and Color Spa where they were getting hair and make-up. The bridal party was set for the day with lots of coffee, danishes, and wine.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at a private residence in a rustic barn. The rain moved the ceremony indoors, but the rustic barn was just beautiful. The old wood floors were the perfect accent for some detail shots.
Even Brad's ring stayed with their camo theme. Rings from Littman Jewelers.
I loved the creativity of their rustic cake and cupcakes, made to look like logs and designed by Shannon Howell. Their cake topper is just perfect, because as you will see, they have a true love of their three America Bulldogs.
Rachel's gown from David's Bridal had the most beautiful intricate beading down the left side. She paired it with some rustic cowboy boots and camo garters, keeping with their wedding theme.
The groom waiting for his bride. Brad was all decked out in camo, right down to his boots!
A beautiful bride
Before the ceremony, Rachel and Brad decided to do a private first look. They had the most adorable reactions to seeing each other. Their ceremony inside the rustic barn.
The bridal party These two cuties really stole the show in group photos. They were both absolutely into their roles as flower girl and ring bearer!
The bride and groom
And here are their three American Bulldogs that I mentioned earlier. We were so amazed at how well these pups posed for their photo, although there are a few funny outtakes too!
And on to the party!
Congratulations Rachel and Brad! I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
